Who is the youngest premier league player for 2022. The Premier League has some of Europe’s most talented young players. These stars are still learning, but they are the future of their clubs and have the potential to make history.

This season, some managers have turned to their youth, putting their trust in the young guns and revamping the squad. Players leaving and retiring are a natural part of the club’s growth. It is not always possible to find a highly experienced player in the transfer market, and it is the responsibility of the coach to train and nurture upcoming talent.

The Premier League’s future is secure.

Several Premier League clubs benefit from youthful exuberance, which bodes well for their future. The energy and zeal of these young people has been a welcome sight for fans all over the world.

On that note, here are the five Premier League teams with the youngest squads.

#5 Leeds United – 25.4 years

Leeds United are in their second season in the Premier League, having been promoted at the start of the 2020-21 season. Leeds are still a joy to watch, despite being in a worse position than last season. Even the top Premier League clubs have been taken aback by their high-tempo playstyle and aggressive pressing.

The attacking philosophy of Marcelo Bielsa is deeply ingrained in the Leeds squad, which is relatively young, with an average age of 25.4 years. Joe Gelhardt and Charlie Cresswell, both 19, are the team’s youngest players.

With three assists so far, Gelhardt is Leeds’ leading assist provider. Ian Meslier, the league’s youngest goalkeeper, is 21 years old.

Leeds have won just three of their last ten league games, and they are currently 15th in the table. To make matters worse, their next three games are against Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham Hotspur. Leeds fans will be hoping that their team can pull off a miracle and take a few points from these games.

#4 Southampton – 25.3 years: youngest premier league player

Southampton has a long history of nurturing and developing young talent. Many of these players left to further their careers, much to the chagrin of fans. Sadio Mane, Luke Shaw, and Gareth Bale are just a few of the superstars who have previously played for the Saints.

The average age of the Saints’ squad is 25.3 years. Tino Livramento, 19, is the Saints’ youngest player and has been one of the league’s best young players this season. The Englishman joined Southampton from Chelsea for a fee of £5 million in August 2021. Armando Broja, 20, is on loan from Chelsea and is Southampton’s joint-top goalscorer with six in the Premier League.

Southampton’s last three Premier League games have been outstanding. They drew with Manchester City and United before winning all three points against Tottenham. The Saints will also face West Ham United in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

Norwich City – 3rd – 25.3 years

This season’s return to the Premier League for Norwich City has not gone as planned. The Canaries have struggled to keep up with the rest of the league, currently sitting in 18th place. They are almost certain to return to the Championship at the end of the current season.

Norwich, like Southampton, has an average squad age of 25.3 years. Andrew Omobamidele, 19, is the Saints’ youngest player. Under-21 summer signings Billy Gilmour, Ozan Kabak, Josh Sargent, and Brandon Williams have all been key members of Norwich’s squad this season.

Norwich City has only won four Premier League games this season and has lost 15. Only Watford has suffered more defeats (16). They will face Liverpool twice in the next 12 days, once in the league and once in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

#2 Brentford – 25 years

Brentford appear to have peaked after a strong start to the Premier League season. The Bees have won just two of their last ten league games, placing them 14th in the league. They may finish lower, however, because they have played more games than the teams below them.

#1 Arsenal – 24.2 years: youngest premier league player

Arsenal’s ship appears to have stabilized after a turbulent start to the Premier League season. The Gunners appear to be a much more solid outfit, particularly in defense. They have a history of poor defensive play, but this season has been a revelation.

Arsenal has the league’s youngest squad, with an average age of 24.2 years. Mikel Arteta has put his trust in his young players, and it has paid off for the Gunners. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, both 20, are Arsenal’s youngest players. So far this season, the duo has combined for 10 goals and six assists in the league.
