FIFA 22 will be launched on October 1st, and before you can complain about how it’s the same as all the others, we’re providing you another cause to by looking at the player ratings.

The overalls of this year’s crop of players have been revealed as the game approaches.

Wolverhampton Wanderers finished 13th in the Premier League last season, a season that was widely considered as a failure.

To make matters worse, EA Sports has reduced the ratings of many Wolves players in this latest edition.

Best rated player: wolves player ratings

Raul Jimenez tops the charts as the best player in the squad for the second season in a row, although losing one overall from the previous edition, dropping from an 84 to an 83.

It’s a little shocking to see Jimenez ranked first overall after missing virtually the whole 2020/21 season, but everyone knows how amazing he can be when he’s at his best.

Rating increase

Obviously, the previous season fell short of the expectations set at Molineux, but FIFA appears to have been a touch severe on this Wolves club, awarding only two players a rating gain over last year.

Ki-Jana Hoever see’s a +2 to his name as he rises to 65 from 63 and Fabio Silva gets a +1, moving to 70 from 69.

Rating slides

And, whereas the previous list was somewhat short, this one is much longer.

In FIFA 22, five players who were at the club last year take hits to their overall. The positive being, none lose more than just one.

Nelson Semedo (81-80), Joao Moutinho (81-80), Romain Saiss (79-78), and Marcal all decline from 84-83. (76-75).

Fastest Player: wolves player ratings

There are no prizes for guessing who the team’s fastest member is.

Adama Traore enters the game with a blistering 96 pace, making him the game’s second fastest player.

Alphonso Davies of Bayern Munich joins him on 96, with PSG’s Kylian Mbappe capturing the speed crown on 97.

On FIFA 22, Wolves have a relatively quick team. Daniel Podence scores a perfect 90, while Pedro Neto scores a reasonable 87.

Captain Conor Coady, on the other hand, won’t be making many Ultimate Teams with his 47 pace.

Moves with skill and a weak foot

Nobody on the Wolves team was deemed skilled enough to have five star skill-moves, although there are five who had four.

Semedo, Trincao, Traore, Podence, and Neto all receive four stars, with the latter two additionally receiving a four star weak-foot characteristic.

Jimenez, Ruben Neves, Moutinho, Willy Boly, Hwang Hee-Chan, Silva, Max Kilman, and Chem Campbell are among those who have earned four stars.

Worst Player: wolves player ratings

Under-23 defender for Wolves Pascal Astrada is the unfortunate recipient of the iconic worst card in the team award.
