Liverpool Or City? Pundits Rule Off Thomas Tuchel Chance Of Winning Premier League With CHELSEA This Season

Thomas Tuchel in Premier League

Chelsea Boss Thomas Tuchel was once again reminded of the weapons both Manchester City and Liverpool have that he doesn’t have in the race to Premier League title.

Liverpool winning 5-0 against Manchester United look like a new era in Premier League football as Liverpool Manchester City and Chelsea battle each other in race to 2021/22 Premier League champion.

Chelsea look more serious when they defeated Norwich City 7-0 last weekend, which was quickly forgotten by the 5-0 thrashing of Manchester United in the hands of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool weapons.

Although, many believe its too early to name a favourites yet but the fact remain the title race is in the circling of Thomas Tuchel Chelsea’s, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Two Premier League pundits Daniel Childs and Matt Addison sat to ducuss who will be crowned Premier League Champion come May 2022, as they sat live on tbe Carefree Chelsea show.

Daniel Childs started the conversation by claiming that he thinks Pep Guardiola men are the favourites.

“I still think that Manchester City are the favourites,” he said. “With [Pep] Guardiola, being the champions and the quality of squad I just think that would be my favourite – taking off my bias Chelsea glasses.

“But, I do think that the way we play football and the way Tuchel is able to master a Champions League triumph in such a short space of time and how we’re able to grind out results more so than City or Liverpool, we’ll get close to the title.

“Chelsea are now putting away games they would’ve lost or drawn last season so far but I still think City are the clear favourites in my opinion.”

Matt Addison, who’s a Liverpool correspondent also gave his title predictions, claiming that Chelsea have almost close the gap with Jurgen Klopp and Guardiola.

He aslo added that both Liverpool and Manchester City managers have a history of hitting the 90 point mark in the Premier League, while Tuchel is still new in the league.

“It’s going to be so, so, tight isn’t it,” he began. “My instinct is that it will be Liverpool or City because there is that body of evidence to suggest they can high 90s in point totals but that’s not to discount Chelsea.

“I’ll go with Liverpool but it could go with City or Chelsea, it really is that close.”
