Newcastle vs Chelsea: The Blues will take a trip to St. James’ Park on Saturday as they will be welcome by Newcastle United.

Chelsea had a narrow Penalty shootout win over Southampton earlier this week in tbe Carabao Cip fifth round following a 1-1 full time draw.

Thomas Tuchel men thrash Norwich City 7-0 in their last Premier League game with Mason Mount’s securing hat-trick.

Chelsea lead the Premier League standing with one point above Liverpool who defeated Manchester United 5-0 last Sunday.

Chelsea has been phenomenon while on away trip this season, securing 10 point out of a possible 12 points and no doubt, Chelsea fans around the world would all be expecting the blues to put in another solid performance as they visit Newcastle United on Saturday.

Thomas Tuchel had been playing with most of his key players out due to Injury.

The likes of Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek following the EFL Cup game against Southampton.

For the second time this season, Chelsea will be without either of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner

Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku on the other hand are expected to miss out again, after the pair sustained Hamstring and ankle injury’s respectively in the blues last Champions League game.

However, Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have all resumed back to training and are expexted to be ready for selection.

Kai Havertz will continue to lead the blues attack with a standing no.9 role in absense of Werner and Lukaku.

MATCH PREDICTION: NEWCASTLE VS CHELSEA

Chelsea away games record this season and the current form so far has made us placed the blues as the favourite to win at the St. James’. While Newcastle on the other hand are still without a signle win this campaign seating 2 point above the 20th spot.
