Slavia Prague star call on his team-mate to focus on Arsenal’s Aubameyang and Lacazette as he lebel them ‘danger men’ ahead of tonight Europa League clash

Slavia Prague forward Peter Olayinka has warned his team-mates that they ‘need to watch out’ for Arsenal pair Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in Thursday’s Europa League tie.

The Gunners welcome the Czech side to the Emirates for the first leg of their quarter-final match-up in what is a crunch fixture for Mikel Arteta’s team.

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Liverpool last Saturday which has left them marooned in 10th place in the Premier League with just eight games left to play.

The Europa League remains their only chance of silverware this season and they go up against a side who are unbeaten in their last 21 games across all competitions.

Slavia Prague have already knocked out Leicester City and Rangers to get to the quarters and although Olayinka is confident about his side’s chances, he remains wary of the danger posed by Aubameyang and Lacazette in attack.

‘I think we have been doing well in away games, and [on Thursday] we can do the same. I believe we can do the same,’ Olayinka told Slavia Prague’s YouTube channel.

‘They play collective, so everyone is important in the team. But I think Aubameyang and Lacazette are players which we need to watch out for. They are the most important and dangerous players.

‘I am focused on [Thursday’s] game and I can say that I am excited to be in this great stadium, so we’ll see what happens.’

Arteta is also aware of the strengths of Slavia Prague and is expecting a tough test for his team on Thursday.

‘They are a really strong side,’ the Spaniard said in his pre-match press conference.

‘They’ve been unbeaten in the league. You see how they have the ball. I think in the last few years, competing at the highest level, they’ve always been in the game and made it really difficult.

‘[They’re] really competitive, brave, very direct and incisive and a team that can cause you problems throughout the game.

‘They never give up, they have a top attitude all the time and that’s why they beat teams because they’re a really good side.’
