Chelsea new signing Romelu Lukaku was quick to rejected a possible future call from Arsenal after scoring on his Chelsea debut during the North London derby at Emirates stadium on Sunday evening.

Lukaku returned to Chelsea earlier this summer after the blues secure a clun-record £97.5 million from Inter Milan and makes no delay by opening his new account with Chelsea.

Lukaku socred against Arsenal inside his first 15 minutes into his Chelsea debut with a close range tap from Reece James before the defender added the second goal inside the first 45 minutes.

Romelu Lulaku made his post-mach talk in front of Arsenal fans and the striker was happy to have scored against the blues London rival.

Lukaku was interviewed by beIN Sports after the game and many in the crowd wanted the 28-years-old striker to join Arsenal.

The reporter then throw the question open to the striker and asked if “he would play for Arsenal one day, but Lukaku reply was very short and perfect as the Belgian did not waste much time to reject the Gunners.

“No”, Lukaku said to the reported question.


Lukaku went on to talk on how happy he’s to make a win on his Chelsea return.

“I’m very happy with the win,” he said post-match. “We played really well, we dominated. We could have scored more but to be honest, coming here, with this performance, we have to be happy.

The striker continued; “It’s good to start like this. I worked hard throughout the week, the team worked hard throughout the week. We knew it was a big, big game for us.”

“Everybody was watching us and we did well. As an individual I tried to help the team, I said I wanted to add something different to the team – hopefully I did. I want to continue to do that to help the team win, that’s the most important thing”. Lukaku Said.

Chelsea now lead the Premier League standing with 6 points after two games played.
