Manchester United missed out on signing 18-years-old Erling Haaland 18 months ago when the striker left Red Bukk Salzbug for Borussia Dortmund.

United are now confident on bringing Erling Haaland, to England despite Chelsea desperately looling for a way to lure the striker this summer.

Despite Erling Haaland turning down a move to Manchester United, the 20-years-old Norway International still holds his Compatriot Ole Gunner Solskjaer in high estem.

Solskjaer will be looking for a way to lure the striker to Manchester United after the two worked together at Molde when Ole was managing Molde.

The Sun earlier reported that the United boss Solskjaer has just sign a new three-year deal and this might convince the Norway striker to work with his compatriot

United had already spend big this summer after spending so much on signing Haaland Dortmund team-mate Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane from Real Madrid, United are willing to add to their squad as they hope to build a better team but United might need to wait for next season before making the move for the striker.

However, Chelsea are trying to make all effort in signing the striker this summer and hope the deal won’t became a direct shootout next summer, Chelsea are trying to make things possible in other to aviod such scenario as they are ready to sign him this summer.

Earling Haaland will be having a release clause worth £62 million which will be effective next summer, but Chelsea are willing to more than twice of that if they could get him this transfer window.

The blues currently in a bid of around £150 million, but Dortmund are not looking like a team who’s ready to let their striker go, and if he stays, then Manchester United will have a better chance to beat Chelsea to signing him next summer.
