Latest Arsenal Injury: Updates On Lacazette, Odegaard And Aubameyang

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette limped off with 20 minutes to go in the 1-1 draw against Fulham at the weekend, and manager Mikel Arteta confirmed after the match that the Frenchman had pulled a hamstring.

It’s a huge blow for the Gunners, considering the forward’s excellent form, and he is not expected to face Everton on Friday evening. He will also be a major doubt for the first leg of the Europa League semi-final against Villarreal next week.

Martin Odegaard has missed the last four games with an ankle injury, but it is hoped that the Norwegian will be back in training this week ahead of the clash against the Toffees. It’s highly unlikely, though, that the midfielder will be fit to start the game.

Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has malaria, and while recovery times vary, it usually takes two weeks to get back to full health once treatment is administered.

David Luiz is unlikely to be back in action before the end of April. It was confirmed earlier this month that the Brazilian had undergone minor knee surgery. He is expected to be sidelined for a number of weeks.
