“It was a great test for us” – Mikel Arteta React to Chelsea 2-1 Pre-season Defeat

Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta shower praise on Chelsea following their Sunday’s 2-1 defeat in the hand of the blues.

Kai Havertz scored the open goal after a solid work by Timo Werner, before Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka levelled the game in the second hald.

It took Thomas Tuchel side a late strike which camw from Tammy Abraham to give Chelsea the 2-1 victory.

Sadly, Mikel Arteta Arsenal’s are yet to record a win any all of the three pre-season matches play so far.

The Gunners will be playing a Pre-seaaon derby with their close rival Tottenham next week, before getting set to new Premier League season with their first game comming up on August 14 against the newly promoted Brentford.

In a Video published by Goal, after Arsenal 2-1 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday, The Gunners Boss Mikel Arteta said: “It was a great test for us, against the best team in Europe” he said.

On the contrary, Chelsea recorded their second win in two pre-season games so far.

Chelsea will face Europa League winner Villarreal in the Uefa Super Cup final next week, with fukk first team players expected to feature for both team.
