Goztepe's Sepil is ready to sell to Chelsea's owner Abramovich

Mehmet Sepil, the president of Göztepe, is pleased to sell his stake to Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea.

It was reported this week that representatives of Abramovich were in talks with Göztepe to acquire the club.

As it turns out, Sepil is willing to sell because he intends to retire at the end of the season and is looking for a new owner who can continue the club’s success.

With the purchase of the Turkish club, Russian billionaire Abramovich was able to remain active in club football even after Chelsea was taken over by the government.
