Full Chelsea Squad to Face Norwich on Saturday – Three Key Players left-out

Chelsea summer signing Romelu Lukaku will miss out on tomorrow Premier League game against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku pick up an ankle injury in Chelsea 4-0 win over Malmo in the UEFA Champions League Group Stage on Wednesday.

Chelsea will welcome Norwich city on Saturday, the Canaries who are currently seating at the bottom of the Premier League table are yet to earn their first win of the season.

However, Chelsea are currently seating at the top of the Premier League table with only two defeat against Manchster City and Liverpool.

Both Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku were walk out of the pich during the first of the blues Champions League game against Malmo dur to injury. Timo Werner was taken off with hamstring injury while Romelu Lukaku left the pitch over a twisted ankle in the 23 minutes.

Chelsea went on to win 4-0 against Malmo despite lossing their two sttiker in the first half.

Chelsea Boss Thomas Tuchel had confirmed in his recent interview, claiming both players will be out for a few games.

“It will take a while,” said Tuchel post-match. “We need more examinations to be more precise but they will be out for some matches.

“It’s not a muscle injury or because of physical fatigue [for Lukaku]. He is a little bit overplayed, this is my opinion and maybe I’m not even right.”

“Timo has a hamstring injury. It will take a while for both of them.” Tuchel said.

Saturday clash against Norwich could be an opportunity for the likes of Hakim Ziyech who who missed out on Chelsea last League game against Brentford.

Christian Pulisic has been out since September and he’s not exprcted to make his return soon, While Havertz might be the best possible option to replace Romelu Lukaku in leading the attack.
