Danilo, the 20years old had been impressive in his defensive midfield role for the Brazilian club and has helped them to win the Copa Libertadores title just last year.

Danilo has impressed everyone in his short spell with Palmeiras

And he has a number of club seeking for his signature including Lille and Monaco so is Arsenal.

All three clubs have made contact for Danilo’s availability, according to TNT Sports report.

But they were all told he is not out for sale this month due to how importance he is to his current club- with Palmeiras set to also participate in the Club World Cup coming up the following .

As a result, the gunners are yet to make any offer for Danilo as Palmeiras is refusing to enter into negotiations with anyone

Which means, Arsenal will have to be patient until next summer to attempt to sign him permanently.

But Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta has confirmed that the club wants to do business this January window, and signing a good midfielder is his main agenda.

Lyon center midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is also said to be Arteta main winter target, while Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo is also on Arsenal radar, with a loan move to still possible for his service.

Guimares confirmed Arsenal’s high interest before later placing doubt for a possible move.

He said: “Arsenal has talk to my agent, but there was never any offer. But My aim, and I’ve always made it clear to Juninho, is to win a title with Lyon before leaving.”

Which means Arsenal would possibly look elsewhere, either to Lille star Renato Sanches after Barcelona ended their interest in the Portuguese midfielder.
