The UK government has amended Chelsea’s special operating license, which will boost the club’s fundraising efforts while the sale of Chelsea takes place.

As a result of the amendment, Chelsea can now sell tickets for away matches, cup games, and women’s matches, as long as no revenue is generated.

The club’s fans will now have the opportunity to attend their club’s Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid at Wembley and FA Cup semi-final with Crystal Palace.

Premier League has announced that ticket sales will benefit war victims in Ukraine by donating the revenue normally received by clubs.

Additionally, Chelsea will be able to receive £30million from its parent company, Fordstam, to allow it to remain afloat while its Premier League franchise is sold following the sanctioning of Abramovich.
