Chelsea looking for a possible and fast solution to bring the 22-years-old Jules Kounde to West London despite Kurt Zouma setback.
A report claimed the blues is set to sign Jules Kounde on a permanet deal and become Chelsea second signing of this summer transfer window, the blues earlier secured Marcus Bettinelli few days back on a free transfer.
Transfer expert Fabrizo Romano said Chelsea are currently working on signning the Sevilla defender as soon as possoble and noted Kounde remain the top target for the blues.
The 22-years-old France international has a release clause of €80 million in his contract and many other top Europe’s clubs are also finding a better solution to secure his signature.
Chelsea London rival Tottenham are one of the clubs bidding for the centre-back, although Kounde had made his intention known on Tottenham move as the defender had refused to anything that won’t be featured in next season Champions League games.
Kounde would rather play Champions League with Sevilla next season instead of playing elsewhere without any hope of Champions League football.
However, Kurt Zouma who waa discussed as a possible swap deal for Chelsea-Sevilla deal would now prefer to continue life in Premier League amid West Ham United intrested in the defender but this won’t stop Chelsea who are ready to do everything as they hope to secure the French player signature.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Boss Thomas Tuchel while speaking to Chelsea TV is confidence Chelsea will succeed this deal as he said; “There were some phone callas with Peter (Cech) and Marina (Granovskaia) and also with my assistant in a relaxed way. There’s no need for stress or rush things.” He said.
Tuchel words could only mean one thing, which looks like things is moving positively on Kounde deal.
