Reports: Chelsea reportedly interested in sigining injury-prone Barcelona star

Repots claim Chelsea are interested in bringing Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele to Stamford Bridge nex summer.

The blues Premier League rival Liverpool already made a contract proposal for Dembele in early 2022 but the reds will be facing a competition from Chelsea as reported by TEAMtalk.

The France International has been with Barcelona since 2017 after sealing his move from Bundesliga side Burussia Dortmund to fill-in Neymar shoe after the Brazilian left for PSG.

However, Ousmane Dembele has had a difficult timeel at Barcelona due to several injuries issues.

Dembele has only played 118 matches for Barcelona in his four years spell, while missing out in 95 games due to injuries fitness and woes.

Dembele best season at Barcelona came last in 2020/21 season where he was able to featured in 44 games.

Ousmane Dembele yet picked up another injury again in the summer during one of France game at the UEFA Euro 2020 and he’s yet to featured in any games for Barcelona since then.

The Frenchman deal at Barcelona will be expired at the end of this current season and questions has began to raise regarding the future of the 24-years-old Frenchman.

Manchester City, Manchester City and Liverpool are all interested in the Frechman and now joined by Thomas Tuchel Chelsea’.

Chelsea have enough options in the attacking area, although both Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech haven’t be able to deliver as expected.

German Striker Timo Werner also hasn’t justify himself yet. No doubt Dembele will be useful for the blues but his futness issues should be more of a concern for the blues before breaking into market
