Chelsea have now see their bid for Romelu Lukaku got rejected again despite the bules willing to pay €100 and including Marcos Alonso as part of the deal.
Serie A Champion Inter Millan are not ready to let their striker move away, despite Chelsea tempting offer.
The blues are in the market for a Top-class striker this summer, with Romelu Lukaku and Erling Haaland on the top list.
This will be the second time the blues will see their bid for Lukaku got rejected by Inter Millan.
Chelsea would have love to secure the signature of their main target Erling Haaland, but with the situation of things now, Haaland deal might be impossible, hence, this has made the blues turn thier attention and focus to the Belgium International.
However, Inter Millan are not ready to let their striker leave the club for any amout. Inter Millan CEO Giuseppe Marotta in his words had insisted on Lukaku.
As quoted by Sport Illustrated Via Absolute Chelsea; “From our side, we can say yes absolutely, Lukaku is not for sale. Lukaku is an important piece on the chessboard available to Simone Inzaghi.” Inter CEO Said.
Before the Euro, the strike had previously noted on his intention of staying with Inter all through 2021-2022 season.
“Yes, I am staying,” Lukaku said back in June before Euro.
“I’ve already had contact with the man who normally becomes our new manager. Maybe I shouldn’t say that yet… It was a very positive conversation. There’s also the challenge of doing it again (winning the league). I feel good at Inter.”
Chelsea are willing to offer Inter Millan one of their left back Marcos Alonso as they look for a better way to tempt the Serie A Champion earlier this summer when they were in negotiating for Achraf Hakimi who later joined PSG last month.
Inter Millan reportedly interested in Alonso and this could be an opporturnity for Chelsea to snap up Lukaku deal.
