BIG PROBLEM!! Abramovich gives Lampard three matches to save his job or face sack

Frank Lampard has been given three games to save his job as Chelsea manager, according to The Sun.

The defeat at Leicester was Chelsea’s fifth loss in eight matches and has fuelled speculation that Lampard could be axed.

And The Sun say he will be given some time to turn things around but that owner Roman Abramovich will make a change if results do not quickly improve.

Meanwhile, The Guardian say Lampard “is running out of time” to save his job and that former Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has been identified as a possible replacement.

The Daily Telegraph say Lampard is fighting to hold onto his position while Abramovich considers how much time to give him.

The Daily Mirror say Chelsea do not want to sack Lampard but expect him to deliver a top-four finish this season.

According to the Daily Star, the Chelsea hierarchy are in “no rush” to sack Lampard but see a Champions League spot for next season as the minimum requirement.

Lampard himself has admitted he is under pressure but insisted after the Leicester game that he can turn things around.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, he said: “We just have to fight. I’m not the only manager to be put under this sort of pressure.

“The lucky thing for me is that I’m good at handling pressure. I could sense that these periods would come.
