Barcelona Player Ratings

Barcelona Player Ratings – The 4-0 victory over Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Sunday put a stop to Barcelona’s losing streak in Clasicos, which had lasted five games.

In his very first Clasico, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang recorded two goals for his team. In addition to Ferran Torres and Ronald Araujo, their names were on the scoresheet.

Real finished the game 12 points ahead of their most famous competitors in the La Liga standings, despite the fact that they suffered a loss in the match.

If the information presented here is any indication, though, we may anticipate a much more competitive championship race next year.

Take a look at our player ratings for Barcelona down below to find out which talents shone the brightest in Madrid.

Barcelona Player Ratings 2022

Marc-Andre ter Stegen – 7/10

Made decent saves to thwart Federico Valverde, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and David Alaba.

Ronald Araujo – 7.5/10

Had a great header that led to the goal. At one point, he was captivated by Vinicius at the opposite end of the field, when the Brazilian defeated him twice before setting up Valverde for a significant opportunity. However, that occurrence stands alone as an outlier.

Eric Garcia – 7.5/10

Outstanding positioning was achieved. Made four interceptions as Barca recorded their first clean sheet in the Clasico since 2019 thanks to his play.

Gerard Pique – 7.5/10

Strong in the rear most part. During the buildup to Barcelona’s fourth goal, he played a fantastic long pass for the team.

Jordi Alba – 7/10

Held the record for most touches among all players. He made effective use of his experience.

Sergio Busquets – 7/10

Achieved a higher number of tackles than anyone else on the field. Naturally, I was given a yellow card for my trouble.

Pedri – 7/10

Ferran was given a chance thanks to the magnificent display of skill that was produced. It would appear that this player will go on to become a legend in many future Clasicos.

Frenkie de Jong – 7/10

During his 70 minutes on the field, he successfully completed 94.6 percent of the 56 passes he attempted. There was no player that made more than three important passes throughout that possession.

Ousmane Dembele – 8.5/10

A fantastic run and cross for Aubameyang earned him his sixth assist of 2022 and gave him the goal. Then, he assisted Araujo in scoring his seventh goal by delivering an accurate corner kick, which was redirected into the net by Araujo. Assisted Araujo defensively as well, as the two of them together managed to keep Vinicius relatively quiet.

Ferran Torres – 9/10

How incredibly animated. In the first minute and a half of the match, you should try to make an impressive shot while also winning a free kick. This will set the tone for a busy evening. A total of six photos were taken. Aubameyang was unable to capitalize on the great opportunity he created by roasting Dani Carvajal, but he did provide an assist for the former Arsenal striker who scored Barcelona’s fourth goal. In the 46th minute, he had a wonderful opportunity to make it 3-0, but he missed it. However, because Barcelona was in such a dominant position, his next opportunity came less than one minute later, and he finished that one brilliantly.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 9.5/10

Barca’s had a field day on a night when Real was suffering from a significant lack of production from their central striker. His debut in the Clasico was marked by a clean sweep of the podium. Ferran was the recipient of the backheeled pass that assisted Barca’s third goal. After that, he lobbed Thibaut Courtois with his left foot to score his team’s fourth goal. Does not obtain a perfect score of 10/10 since he could have and probably should have scored higher.
