Former Arsenal coash Arsene Wenger has back Mikel Arteta Arsenal’s squad, despite the Gunners lossing their first three Premier League matches.
Arsenal are currently seating at the bottom of Premier League table after lossing three of first three Premier League matches losing 2-0 to newly promoted Brentford on Premier League opening day, before going on to loss to both Chelsea and Manchester City.
Arsenal poor start to the new Premier League campaign has put more pressure on the Gunners coash Mikel Arteta who coudn’t secure enough singing.
Arteta was under fire last campaign with Arsenal failure to qualify fot any European competition for the first time in 25 years.
Aresnal now look far way from where Wenger left the club, Arsene Wenger who delivered three Premier League title and seven FA Cup for the gunners during his era, also made the League more interesting with the intense rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United within the 90s to early 2000’s.
Arsene Wenger spend 22-years with the North London side and guilded the Gunners to an Invincible record in the 2003/2004 season in which hos Arsenal’s team went unbeaten all through the season.
The 2003/2004 League title remain the most recent league title for the North London club.
With the current Arsenal poor form which have see the Gunners lost of thier first three Premier League matches, and many of the Arsenal fans have been calling on the veteran manager to return to Emirates stadium, with the 71-years-old admitted he’s given his best to the Gunners in his young age and claim to be a mere fan at the Moment.
“I’m 71. I’ve given this club the best years of my life. At the moment I’m just a fan,” Wenger told BILD. “Today the club is in good shape.
“They had two tough games (against Chelsea and Manchester City), the team has potential and I hope they can come back.” Wenger said.
