Araenal young striker Nikolaj Moller’s loan spell at Viktoria Koln in Germany has been cut short, and the Arsenal teenager has returned to the north London giants.

Last year, the Gunners recruited the big Swedish midfielder from Malmo, and he began his career with the U23s.

Last term, the 19-year-old star caught the eye for the academy staff before going out on loan to Olaf Janssen’s side in the 3. Liga (Germany’s third tier) at the very beginning of this season.

According to, the Northern Londoners have exercised a recall option to bring the youngster back early.

The attacker, who has three goals in 13 matches for them across all competitions, is set to continue his improvement with the U23s.

Arsenal’s Head of Future Talent, Yousuf Sajjad, also spoke to the aforementioned source on the club’s present generation of youth players, including Moller.

‘All of the youngsters that have arrived have a champion attitude, which is a need for any player we want to recruit.

‘To Nikolaj Moller, who is an incredible person being as well as a player with great potential, from the lads above.

‘To Joel Ideho and Omar Rekik, who have had to relocate across the country and adjust to radically different lifestyles.

‘They all have great potential as players and fit the profile of what we want in our first team,’ says the coach.

‘But most importantly, emphasize the need of respect, discipline, and humility in becoming a strong young Gunner inside our institution.’
