Arsenal have been linked with a possible move for Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak in recent months, and the foward has now open door to Playing in the Premier League one day.

Alexander Isak has welcome the dream of a possible move to Arsenal after the 22-years-old admitted it that it “would be nice to one day play in the Premier League”.

The Real socieded striker was linked to a move to North London over the summer, unfortunately for the Gunner’s Isak committed his future to Real Socieded when he pend down a new long-term contract that will see him at the Spanish club till the summer of 2026.

The 22-years-old Swedish has scored five goals for Socieded this season in all competitions and a report also claimed that Barcelona are interested in the striker.

However, Arsenal will be at alert with the striker admitting his interest in playing in the Premier League.

Speaking to The Independent, Isak said: “I am in a good place at the moment, I am very happy, but one day it would be nice to play in England as well.

“They have six or seven of the biggest clubs in the world, it is a very high level, and of course one day it would be an alternative. Every player wants to be the best version of themselves and reach the highest possible level.

“I have expectations for myself that I’m trying to fulfil, so we’ll see where the journey takes me in future.”

With five goals already scored this season, the 22-years-old admitted that it is important for him to become the “modern striker”.


He added: “People will always count the goals, I want to score, but I want to be a modern striker. I love playing football and that means being involved as much as possible. I think that is why the Spain has suited me very well.”

Mikel Arteta and Edu might need to scout for a new striker for the team, with Alexander Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah future uncertain.
