Report: Arsenal young striker in talk to depart the Team as talk ongoing with Crystal Palace

According to report, Eddie Nketiah is in talks to join Crystal Palace.

The 22-year-old has only appeared in three Premier League games this season and is set to leave the club in the summer.

Nketiah appeared in Arsenal’s FA Cup loss to Nottingham Forest at the weekend, but The Times reports that it could be his final game for the club.

Palace are said to have begun talks with the Lewisham-born player, who is expected to be available at a bargain because his contract expires in six months.

Last summer, the Eagles had a £12 million bid for the England Under-21 international rejected, but the striker has now turned down a new deal at the Gunners.

Vieira is planning a raid on his old club.

Crystal Palace Boss Patrick Vieira, despite possessing Christian Benteke, Odsonne Edouard, Jordan Ayew, and Jean-Philippe Mateta as main forwards in his team, is desperate to add Nketiah to his ranks.

Mikel Arteta, on the other hand, is thought to be apprehensive about losing the Gunners academy product, as it would leave Alexandre Lacazette as the Spaniard’s sole senior centre forward option.

Nketiah has 18 goals in 72 games for Gunners in all tournaments, including a loan spell at Leeds.
