Arsenal will allegedly consider bids for defense duo Calum Chambers and Pablo Mari in the January transfer window.
Despite the fact that neither players is anticipated to be part of Mikel Arteta’s long-term plans.
According to Sky Sports, the Gunners could do with getting rid of some undesired squad players in the upcoming weeks, and Chambers and Mari’s futures appear to be in jeopardy.
Arsenal have spent a fortune on defensive recruits like Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, and Takehiro Tomiyasu in the last few of years, which has prevented Chambers and Mari from breaking into the first team.
Although Arteta is assembling a quality team at the Emirates Stadium, there is bound to be room for growth, so moving players like Chambers and Mari makes more sense if it helps the club raise revenue and reduce pay costs.

According to Sky, no clubs are now interested in these players, although suitors from clubs lower down the Prem League standings are expected to emerge soon.
