The former Manchester City youth man has received rave reviews for the Arsenal Under-23’s this season, having impressed with his football skill, passing and reading of the game.

A centre-back who is also have the ability to play in defensive midfield or at right-back position, Omar Rekik will be joining up with the Tunisia National team squad for the tournament in Cameroon in some few days.

The Gunners have listed several academy players out for loan in January, as we understands.

With so many players available and just three competitions at senior level this season for Arsenal, the club are finding it difficult to get enough game time for their youngsters.

Omar Rekik was one of the supposed players expected to go out on loan, but he will now benefit from playing in a huge competition with Africa’s best footballers.

However, Arsenal are open to accepting any suitable loan offers for youngster Kido Taylor-Hart this January.

Omar Rekik received his first national call-up nain June where he played 45 minutes of a friendly game against Mali.

Though, Arsenal are open to accepting loan offers for youngster Kido Taylor-Hart in January window.

We understands that Taylor-Hart is part of eight Arsenal under-23 team players set to be made available for loan next month, along with the likes of Flo Balogun, Ben Cottrell and James Olayinka, who have all featured at first team level for the Gunners in the past once or more.

However, it should be accepted that the number of youth players Arsenal decide to loan out in January could be impacted by the Covid situation among the first team.
