Arsenal receives transfer boost as a report claimed Juventus are unable to meet up with £34 million Manuel Locatelli’s asking price.

This could be a huge boost for the Gunners transfer hopes as Mikel Arteta Arsenal’s has been monitoring the italia star since the beginning of Euro 2020.

Not only Arsenal though, a report also claimed Liverpool are interested in signing tbe Italian man to replace Gini Wijnaldum who left the club for PSG this summer.

A report from Sky Italia, claimed that Juventus were unable to meet Sassuolo’s Manuel Locatelli asking price of £34 million.

Both Sassuolo and Juventus had meet on three occassion to discuss Locatelli future but no agreement were finalized yet.

It was also reported that Juventus would prefer to get the Italy international on a two-year loan with an option to buy.

However, Arsenal might be the winning side in this deal asthe Gunners reportesly make a bid for the 23-years-old midfielder earlier this week.

Many Gunners fans will be happy now that Arsenal receives transfer boost on the Italian but the only way for Arsenal to quickly close this deal before Juventus make another bid is for the Gunners to quickly meet up with the £34 million asking price set by Sassuolo.

Arsenal already make some additions to their midfield group with Albert Sambi Lokonga who signed few days back.

Granit Xhaka future remain unclear ahead of next season, although it was reported that Arsenal had given him the opportunity to extend his contract with increase salary which is almost double if what AS Roma is offering him.

If Xhaka should depart, then the Gunners will surely need a new replacement as fast as possible.
