Arsenal will welcome Sunderland to Emirates Stadium as the two team face-off in a League Cup Semi-final

Arsenal will once again be without their former captaim Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gunners are on a high level at the moment sitting in the fourt spot on the Premier League table.

Arsenal could be competing for sliverware in the League Cup as they host Sunderland to earn a spot in the Semi-final as both team are to meet on Tuesday night.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will likely make some changes in his squad to face the League one outfit as the North London can’t afford to joke with their comming games in the Premier League. But the Gunners will still look brilliant for Sunderland.

Bernd Leno should start at goal in the League Cup, while we can see Cedric Soares and Nuno Tavares starting from the full-back positions, with Calum Chambers and Rob Holding completing the four back.

In midfield, Mikel Arteta could be force to start Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny with Albert Sambi Lokonga holding the Gunners midfield.

Nicolas Pepe will be hoping to feature, having been displaced by too much of competition in the squad in recent games. Mikel Arteta shoulld consider starting him on the right-side flank.

Emile Smith Rowe could start in the No.10 role for the Gunners. The England international was limited to play in their 4-1 victory against Leeds United and he still find his way on the scoresheet.

Eddie Nketia and Alexandre Lacazette are likely to leed the Gunners attack together.

Lacazete has been phenomenon for the squad in recent games, and with Aubameyang’s disciplinary issues continue to be a problem for the Gabonese, Lacazette could be the best option to lead the Gunners attack.
