Arsenal coash Mikel Arteta has no plan in taking away the Arsenal penalty taker badge from club-captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Prierre-Emerick Aubameyang will continue taking the team Penalty and remain the fist-choice penalty taker despite recent miss.

Arsenal penalty taker and the team captain Aubameyang has missed his last two penalty-kick, with the last miss coming from the 1:0 win over Watford on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.

Aubameyang was suppose to gave Arsenal the lead when he step-up to take the sport-kick in the first-half against Watford after Alexandre Lacazette was fouled by Danny Rose in the spot area.

The Gunners Captain also lost a penalty against Aston Villa, although he later make amendment by scoring from rebound after Ben Foster save.

Following the final whistle against Watford on Sunday, many Arsenal fans took to twitter to call for a change aiming at the team spot-taker.

But the Gunners boss has no plan to withdraw his captain from the spot-kick. when asked during his pre-match conference after Watford win, the Gunner’s boss says; Aubameyang will continue to take the Penalty ‘if he’s happy to do so’

“[Aubameyang] will stay on penalties if he is happy to do so,” Arteta continued. “You will miss if you take penalties, that is part of your career and the job.” Arteta said.

Arsenal now seat in tbe fifth spot on the Premier League table, three points above Manchester United who are sitting in the sixth spot and two point below Liverpool.
