5 Positive things we learnt

According to a report by Tribalfootball,  the Football Association has penalised Arsenal with failing to guarantee that their players behaved properly during their home defeat to Manchester City on Saturday.

The incident occurred in the 59th minute, when Arsenal defender Gabriel received a second yellow card and was sent off.

Gabriel, a Brazilian, was booked twice in the first two minutes as City battled back from a goal down to win 2-1.

The FA has given Arsenal until January 7 to respond to the charge.

After examining the pitchside monitor, referee Stuart Attwell overturned his first judgement and awarded City a penalty.

Gabriel was sent off just a minute after surrendering from the penalty spot. His first caution was for attempting to scuff up the penalty area, and his second was for a foul on Gabriel Jesus.

Arsenal had taken the lead via Bukayo Saka, but Riyad Mahrez equalized from the spot and Rodri completed the comeback triumph in stoppage time.
