Arsenal Bounces Back After Eleven Matches Defeat Streak

Arsenal seemed to find their fire again when they went against Chelsea, trying to find their feet in premier league.

Mikel Arteta’s men recorded an emphatic win as they hosted Frank Lampard’s men in their home, giving Arsenal supporters a new surge of hope. The Gunners recorded a 3-1 scoreline against Chelsea.

The match started with Arsenal pressuring, maintaining possession and trying to find the back of the net in the early stages. Later in the first half, Chelsea tried their luck, but, Mason Mount couldn’t send his freekick home. Arsenal’s breakthrough finally came in fhe 34th minute, when Reece James brought down Kieran in the 18 yards box, giving Arsenal a penalty. Alexander Lacazette did not waste his opportunity, as he scored to put Arteta’s men in front. Ten minutes later, Granit Xhaka scored a beautiful freekick to widen the scoreline for Gunners just before half-time.

It was rewarded in the 85th minute, as Tammy Abraham scored a consolation goal for the blues, finishing a cross from Callum-Hudson Ndoi. Chelsea were later awarded a penalty which Jorginho missed in the 89th minute. It was a dissapointing result for Frank Lampard’s men, as ig would have been 3-2.
