Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta explain reason for slow January transfer window

With alot being said on Arsenal transfer moves in the january transfer window, as fans believes the club are working hard to bring in players to help improve the team, for the difficult period ahead.

The club have been linked with numbers of players of recent but nothing has been done. With many positions lacking quality players.

I’m sure Arteta and Edu are trying everything they can to get someone in as soon as possible, but as Arteta stated in his press conference yesterday, getting quality players halfway through the season when they are still needed by their individual clubs is incredibly difficult.

Arteta stated, when asked about any possible arrivals this month and the Gunner’s boss said; “After that, we have a strategy for how we want to evolve and improve the team, and we’ll endeavor to implement it whenever possible. This market is exceedingly challenging, as we all know.”

Arteta’s fundamental issue, as has been noted out numerous times since the defeat to Nottingham Forest, is that while our first XI is exceedingly difficult to beat, when our backup players are brought into play, our performances plummet.

Obviously, we can all believe that there are moves happening behind the scenes that we are unaware of, but Arteta’s statements are unlikely to inspire confidence in Arsenal fans….
