Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has been pushed by Kevin Campbell to make two crucial additions in the January transfer window.

Arsenal are said to be considering moving away from Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this month after the former captain fell out of favor with manager Mikel Arteta due to disciplinary reasons.

Meanwhile, other strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah’s futures are in doubt, with their present contracts scheduled to expire at the end of the season, and there is speculation that they may also leave the club.

Campbell believes that all three players will depart Arsenal and has urged the club to sign two new strikers to fill the vacuum that they would leave.

‘I believe we require two strikers.’ Because of Aubameyang, Lacazette, and Eddie, I believe we need two,’ he told the Highbury Squad Podcast.

‘I believe they will all be gone.’ [Folarin] Balogun will be on loan, so he will be studying, so I believe we will need two forwards.’

Alexander Isak could be heading to Arsenal im fee days time.

Mikel Arteta has reignited the Emirates’ positive vibes, and there is a strong belief within the media that some major signings would propel them to the next level.

There’s no denying that the Gunners need to splash some cash this transfer window, and if the board truly believes he’s the right guy for the job, they should give him the means to make the deals he wants.

The Gunners are in need of a striker and possibly another midfielder, and if they can obtain them, they could have a very productive season this time around.
