A Sikh fan was attacked during the Liverpool match

A Sikh Arsenal fan was attacked and his turban was taken away in the toilets whilst watching the match last night. “Absolutely disgusting. We will not stand for this!” the tweet read.

During Wenger’s side’s Premier League match with Liverpool on Wednesday night, a Sikh supporter is alleged to have been attacked in the changing rooms. Gurpreet Singh claimed on Twitter that a Sikh supporter has been attacked in the changing rooms and has been injured.

It has now been revealed that Arsenal are investigating the incident, although no formal complaint has been received at this time.

According to a spokesperson for the club, we are aware of the shocking reports, but we have yet to receive any formal reports regarding the incident.”

A police investigation is also being conducted into the alleged attack, although to date no reports have been filed with them regarding it.However Roberto Firmino and Diogo won the goal for Manchester City in their 2-0 goal over Arsenal.
